Meet Presidio
Graduate School
Climate Change Education for All is the name of the climate change education program from Presidio Graduate School. Presidio is the country’s first and only independent graduate school exclusively dedicated to sustainability and social justice. Every course in our unique curriculum empowers students to create meaningful positive impact in the world. Our courses for K-12 teachers focus on integrating climate change education with a focus on solutions into existing curricula. The goal is empower educators and inspire individual, local and national climate action. We’re building a global community of change—we hope you’ll join us.
Climate Change
Education For All
Since our founding, Presidio has always strived to build educational programs that cultivate climate literacy and systems thinking. We believe in providing our community with the tools and resources to be true advocates of equity, stewards of the environment and leaders of climate action. We are excited to apply this same philosophy to reach younger learners in our climate change education program. The goal is to equip K-12 educators with the knowledge, skills and resources to confidently integrate climate change education, from climate science to climate justice, into any grade 6-12 classroom

With Special
Thanks to...
...our generous funders for making this critical program to inspire climate action through climate education a reality. Presidio would like to extend special gratitude to our inaugural funder, the Gordon and Llura Gund Foundation, as well as our other wonderful supporters—Enlight Foundation, Suzanne Farver, Rebekah and Larry Helzel, and the Blackstone Ranch Institute—for their remarkable commitment to education and sustainability.
“Climate Change Essentials provided me with valuable resources to be a better teacher of climate change. I have already used some of those resources in the classroom and my students find them engaging and motivating. Thank you!”
